We look for coolness, for refuge from the blazing sun, we are parched with thirst, inside and out. And we find beauty, strength and guidance from within, when we rest in Him who made us. With love to my fellow artists! As always, please enjoy the music at the end! -Debra
Phew... finally, the tests are over. Not entirely though. Immediately after the pathetically short two weeks of holidays, I'll have to return to taking on those tests that school will throw at me. I won't even be able to enjoy my two short weeks fully. I experienced a period of desperate anger towards the horrible schedule last week for I felt it was completely done without thought towards us students. But there's nothing much I can do about it... someone wrote in before many years ago, and an explanation was given. Well. The world is unfair, is all I can say. ... I have one week of school left.
ANYWAY, ON TO LIGHTER THINGS.

In the past I've always sorted my Faves into folders, which is very organised of me ~teheplz (https://www.deviantart.com/teheplz) but then I can never find the newest ones easily.
So I've been collecting them 'loose' instead and now I can feature them before I file them neatly away.
I'd recommend you get yourself some refreshment because there are rather a few and, as you will soon realise, they are not in any order at all, but I really hope you love them all as much as I do...
And my own favourite from my gallery lately

Well I've realized that my big 'art block' is, in fact, a full-blown existential crisis. Sounds funny to say, since that phrase gets thrown around so much, but it's a legitimate problem. I knew my struggle with art was a bigger problem than just not having any ideas, but up until now I wasn't exactly sure what more it could be. But as embarrassing as it is to say, it struck me that once I finished Amethyst Eyes, I kind of lost my sense of purpose in life. Shows how much resolve I have in life, huh?
I've been reading over lots of stuff on this particular topic- some of it is encouraging, some is rather dismal. I'm trying to skip over the dism
